You are probably very creative, clearly very intelligent, and you obviously think 'out of the box'. The odds of you being able to talk to most people easily grow dimmer, the higher your IQ is.

My answer was to become a better listener. People LOVE to be listened to. Then, you will find the normal social constructs work in your favor---as people will be asking you (or, they should---can't guarantee it) what your thoughts on the topic at hand actually are.

I've also learned to content myself with just a few good friends, who love & understand me and care what I may actually have to say.

If you genuinely want to interact with people, you do have to work at being accessible; and go from there to figure out who would welcome idiosyncratic randomness and sparkling, unpredictable and unscripted repartee.

And, PS: I doubt very much that you are boring.
