as of 12:30 am this morning we officially took back some of our power. cores daughter and her gf had been staying with us for close to 3 weeks and it was a tense,volatile situation. last night became the last straw. she started out small by being nasty when we wouldnt let her use our phone to play games on because its not holding a charge and needs to be checked out. it then escalated into passive-agressive remarks-and for the first time EVER we decided to NOT engage in her verbal attacks and kept silent,letting her go on. the verbal abuse kept ratcheting up and up and still we kept quiet-which,btw was hard as hell!!!-determined to not give in. but the final event was when she took our kitten and flung him on the bed! then we opened our mouth! we are sure you can only imagine how that went. we told her calmly to pack up her and her gf ***** and find someone else to live with. IMMEDIATELY. they then proceeded to go outside and spend 45 minutes smoking. eventually they got most of their stuff together and then cores daughter said they would be back tomorrow for the rest of their stuff. NO! get it all out tonight we wont be here tomorrow. it turned increasingly uglier and uglier,with us finally having to call the night manager to remove her from our room since she refused to leave. she then started accusing us of making up everything that had happened to us,right down to being DID. amazingly we just stood there,shook our heads and laughed. she ended up stealing quite a few of our personal items but we let it go because she would have called the cops if we tried to take it back. currently her and her gf are both on felony probation and in VOP. we briefly entertained the thought of reporting them to their PO but decided not to stoop to that level. they will trip themselves up sooner or later. but taking back some of our power-PRICELESS!!! no more will we be abused or attacked by cores nasty daughter. icing on the cake?-by monday we are moving to a new place in another county where cores husband works,changing our phone number and dumping a huge amount of stress! today we pat ourselves on the back thanks for reading if you did♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
