This is a guitar solo from a tune that always raises goosebumps for me. It's short and maybe not to everyones taste but the emotion it seems to transfer gets to me every time. It's written by Pink Floyd member Dave Gilmour and this guy here is merely paying homage [ he ain't Dave but he's good] so try not to let his looks or attitude sway you from the actual sounds. Does anyone else feel uplifted somehow by the pure emotion coming from this?
This kind of makes me feel a little sad but at the same time uplifted somehow. I love it when mere sounds can elicit such emotion. It doesn't happen frequently but every once in a while a riff or combo of sounds unites to hit that ol' cortex in fine fashion. Anyone with any favorite 'bits' 'riffs' etc they might like to share that curdles their cortex or gooses the bumples etc?
