Bless your heart! You're having an awful time! I wish I could wave a magic wand and make everything go away!
I really know how all those racing thoughts can drive you nuts -- and it keeps you awake all night, and drives you crazy during the day! It used to literally make me crazy! Finally, I just said to HECK with it, and decided I wasn't going to let it kill me anymore.
It was hard, but I just quit allowing everything to "get" to me. I REFUSED to get stressed to the hilt. Sure, there were times when things got chaotic, but they didn't STAY that way, like before. I'd breathe deeply alot, and just clear my mind for a few seconds, and think of something that really pleased me like the ocean or something. I didn't care if someone was hollering for me at the time or not -- I HAD to calm down!! I kept doing it thru out the day, as often as I needed to, and pretty soon it just became habit that I was calmer and calmer each day. Soon, not much got me upset at all. I was able to do my job without getting very worked up at all.
Sure, it takes awhile, but I didn't have a heart attack -- not until I retired!!! GO FIGURE. LOL God bless and I hope you feel MUCH better very soon. Hugs, Lee
