example anyone who feels suicidal or having any mental health issues can go to their nearest medical hospitals Emergency room, talk with the psychiatric treatment provider for meds, just talk or be evaluated to see if they need to be admitted on that hospitals psychiatric/mental health ward for short term inpatient treatment.
our mental health units at the hospitals do all kinds of mental health services...meds, therapy, groups/classes and help people get set up with out patient therapist/psychiatrists or other services as needed.
our county mental health, private mental health and various public mental health agencys are where we can get out of hospital care like sessions with therapists and psychiatrists, med prescriptions and other services as needed.
we also have public and private mental health inpatient, semi inpatient and out patent mental health agencies for example here in NY, USA we have all these places where New yorker's (adults and children) can receive mental health services like therapy, meds and others depending upon mental disorder/symptoms, these are inpatient type services and does not list all that we have for inpatient and outpatent services.. for example my city has a hospital thats not on the list and over 30 other county, private and public mental health agencies that are not on the list..

Here in NY, use we can also meet with our medical doctors for some mental health services for example I know many in this town that prefer to have their medical doctors prescribing their medications for their mental health issues.
I have utilized Emergency rooms, crisis centers, county mental health and other public and private mental health agencies for my mental health issues.
