The past few days Andy has been distant and just not himself. I ask him if he's ok and he says he's fine. He refuses to talk to me.
The other night I had to hold him till he went to sleep because he was so upset about the way he looks and surprisingly he opened up a little about it.
Well, when Andy got home from partial today he seemed a bit...quiet. If you knew Andy, you'd know quiet was not a word that was in his vocabulary unless something was bothering him. I know something is seriously wrong and he's not the type to talk about it no matter how many times I ask.
He also seems more fragmented than usual. Sure, his thinking is usually fragmented to a point, but it seems to be worse today. Like he was on the phone talking to his mom and she's sending us some DVD's in the mail. Well, I asked him what movies like 2 seconds after he asked....and he seemed so flustered and stumbled over his words trying to get out "I don't remember."
Andy is a severe schizoaffective. He has to have his meds and everything. When he gets bad or goes off his meds he gets nearly catatonic. When he's like that the only words he's able to say is "yeah" or "uh-huh." And that's in response to everything you say or ask him. Like if you ask him a question such as "how was your day" he'll say "yeah."
I just am afraid he's getting bad again and I don't want that.
