I was on it for 10 years. It finally lost its effectiveness but it worked well for me. It was the first time I felt happy. I always thought everyone felt as bad as I until prozac. Now I am on Effexor XR which also works !!
I had no side effects with prozac that I know of. It might have caused some weight gain but maybe I would have gained it anyway
