As you have found, it is easy to think about and be excited about possibilities, hard to choose and do. I found Barbara Sher's books really good; her first/best is online,
Wishcraft.
But, what might help you after that, as much or more, is her book,
I Could Do Anything If I Only Knew What It Was
I would get out more and get some friends, forget about what you think you look like to others and only concentrate on what you want. I changed my major in college in 1971 and graduated in a different subject (don't change your major in your senior year when you only have one course to your credit in your new major! I highly don't recommend it :-) and it was not until 2001 that I got back to my original love and got that degree in 2007, one online course at a time. There's nothing right or wrong about how we live our lives, it's just what makes us happy and works for us!
