HMMMM, so many of us feel this way a lot of the time. Now stand back and picture someone who loves you and the way they see you? Can you see through their eyes? We are not born to be ugly and hopeless, we are born to live and grow and change. I am ugly by our culture's standards. I have gained a lot of weight in 6 months. However, last week we had a very hot day and I was driving my daughter's car with a short in the electric windows.And, the A.C. needs a charge. I stopped and got a bag of ice and groceries,then went to get gas. I took off my shirt and was wearing a chamisol (sp). The man at the pump is english and I see him twice weekly. I told him he was the only person who would see me as I was driving straight home. He wispered to me in a very loving, not come on way that I was a beautiful american woman and had nothing to shame. He was dear. I give him donations of kid's things for his wife who works with underage parents.

What I am saying is it is perspective. You are a child of the universe and you are beautiful.
