I think you should see a therapist who specializes in desensitizing and flooding. The best and most painful way of getting through a phobia is to experience it over and over until it doesnt have the same effect or power. They can reduce the anxiety to a level where you may need something for the anxiety but it wont have the same ovetwhelming fear attached.
