Good that you've grown enough to realize that meeting our standards for ourselves is the real struggle!

I was in a similar situation as a teenager. I was obsessed with my bf, who shortly thereafter became my ex-bf. It was extremely painful for me. Since that time (...23 years ago, I think) I haven't EVER given that much of myself to anyone.

I didn't realize that until this very moment. Amazing!!
