This confuses me also because all my alters look different, ages,gender how they feel about themselves, their jobs....sometimes it bothers us when we get a gimps of the " real body" in a mirror ( we avoid looking for this reason) ....I guess we have body dysphoric syndrome....I cant spell the name .But the alter that is out never looks like what I guess "everyday people see"....my t always wants to know the name, age and job of our alters in tx.....she jokingly says we all look alike to her.After she gets to know different alters then we don't have to state our names.....
