I met with a career counselor today. He had me take a test to see what my Holland codes are. I'm an SAI. Social (helper); Artistic (creator); Investigative (thinker).
My top type by far was Social:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holland...s_.28Social.29
"Kind, generous, cooperative, patient, caring, helpful, empathetic, tactful, and friendly. They excel at socializing, helping others, and teaching. They like tasks that involve teamwork, social interaction, relationship building, and improvement of society.
They enjoy activities that are public, humanitarian, educational, philanthropic, interpersonal, and service-oriented."
"People in the social category prefer to work with others. They tend to be highly verbal, express themselves well, and get along well in groups. Social types typically prefer the team approach to problem solving. People in the social category often describe themselves as cooperative, friendly, and understanding. They generally enjoy teaching, caring for others, volunteering, mediating disputes, meeting new people, and working in groups."
So I guess I should be a teacher or counselor or social worker. Most of the career suggestions they gave me pay less than I currently make.
