I actually picked it based on a combination of "most prestigious university programme I was accepted to" (I also applied to aerospace engineering, but I didn't get into any good unis for it) and " most remunerative".
It turned out OK, though. I actually like the law. And I get to wear a silly wig and a bathrobe at work.
