Yes, life IS a struggle. I think we've all felt like that at one time or another. But it IS worth it -- believe me. I've lived a long time, and I've been thru some very rough times. And there were times I felt just like you're feeling right now. I wondered "What's the use?" But I later found out what WAS the use!!! There is joy in living!!
You WILL find the 'right' person. You WILL find a job. You WILL make lasting friendships!! All things change -- it won't stay the way it is right now. Nothing stays the same, thank God.
Suffering from depression makes us feel so hopeless and numb! It makes everything seem to futile, when it certainly isn't. If you're NOT on an antidepressant, ask your doctor about getting on one. It doesn't have to be permanent -- maybe just to get you over the 'hump.' It can be a life-saver for some. I've been on one for years. If you ARE on one, it may not be working, and you may need an increase in dosage, or a change in the medication. Sometimes we become accustomed to our meds, and they need changing. I've had to change mine a couple of times. Talk to your doctor. He can help you.
I hope you feel better soon. Take care & God bless. Hugs, Lee
