Do you ever feel like there are times when you do not have anyone to confide in? I feel like that today! Thank you for listening. I had to deal with another customer that used the race card in response to our companies policy. Man it sucks! I am not a prejudice person. I treat people with respect and courtesy. It's sincere, and honestly it is offensive to us (people in customer service) when they resort to accusing you of discrimination. I realize there will always be those who do this, because they are simply not mature enough to realize the responsibility they hold when they come into an agreement with a company, and then they translate that onto a person, and the person representing my company is me. Some people I deal with are not from this country and are not famililar with how business operates here. Its offensive to them that they are held accountable to an agreement they signed and they said they understood. They resort to petty, base behavior that is most unpleasant for all involved. I do my best in handling these situations by being professional and calm, but at the same time I must uphold my company policies. When I don't 'make an exception' for them then they decide it's personal and down to the gutter it goes.
Thanks for listening, I appreciate your time!
