I was on this antidepressant for almost 4 years. It helped with the depression yes but holy hell getting off of it has been complete hell. It has been almost 3 weeks (2 days shy) since I went off and the withdrawals are crazy...my brain is zapping, shivering including my chest, heart palpitations, dizzy as ****, dreams are whack, anger, omg the anger, is so intense that even guilt for your anger towards other doesn't play into the factor.

I googled withdrawals from celexa and the responses were unreal, there are so many ppl going thru exactly what I am going thru...its disheartening.

My Dr swore by this med, said coming off won't be bad. He is a ****ing idiot as far as I'm concerned...****ING MORON!! Oh and btw the FDA just put out that celexa is linked to heart disease...ya!!! My whole family has heart disease with the exception of my mother. So ya thanks ya ****!!!!

Just for the record, obviously, avoid this one.
