Interesting.....I left my husband 5 years ago.....more like kicked him out of my farm & sent him packing back to our house in California. I have nothing to do with him on any holidays & he has had nothing to do with me either......last fall, my horse had to be put down....my horse was at the ranch in California & my husband was there that morning.....he never even bothered to call me, text me or anything else about the death of my horse. The end of november, I get a text telling me Happy Thanksgiving.......what a jerk. All I could think was that he was at someone's house for thanksgiving who commented that he should send me a happy thanksgiving text because it's not something he would do on his own.

I personally wouldn't think much about your ex sending you the text......it's nice that he's being nice.....but that part of your life is over....you need to get on with your life & leave the past where it is....in the past.
