Hi ~ I was an Optician for YEARS and I've been wearing Progressive lenses for many years. I LOVE them!!! They work for ANY distance that I need to see.
It takes a little while to get used to them, but you WILL LOVE them after you adjust. At first, when you moved your head from side to side, you MIGHT feel a tiny bit "dizzy" but MOST people do not. Also, if you have ANY astigmatism, the floor might look like it's going downhill -- so just be careful. LOL
Also, make sure you look thru the TOP part of the lenses if you're stepping UP on a curb, or DOWN off the curb, as you don't want to trip. That goes for stairs too. Experiment with them at home.
Remember that when you're reading, you look thru the VERY BOTTOM OF THE LENSES. When you're on the computer, you look thru THE MIDDLE of the lenses -- you'll find the right place. Just move your head gently until you find the right place. LOL
I'm sure you'll like them. Like I said, they're for every distance that you'll need. If you have any more questions, just let me know. Hugs, Lee
