Thanks for the suggestions. Some of it is due to other limitations: distance, whether they accept my insurance, (or whether my insurance accepts them). There is an ADHD clinic here that specializes in ADHD treatment, but the only treatment they offer is biofeedback (EEG). It's extremely expensive and, so far, I don't know of any insurance companies cover it because it is considered "experimental."

I'll keep plugging away. It gets frustrating because when you make an appointment with someone it's usually 3 or 4 weeks before you can get in to see them. That's 3 or 4 weeks of just waiting. When you finally get in to see them, sometimes it becomes apparent after 1 visit that they're not going to help - sometimes it takes 2, 3 or 4 visits before you realize they're just "flying blind" just trying to find a medication or a dose that works, (without much attention to any other treatment).

Either way, a lot of time has gone by just trying to find a "good doctor". And here I am, 2 years later, no further ahead than I was 2 years ago.
