nooooooo!! don't think that! I had exactly the same experience. I contacted 50 or so therapists and only 2-3 called me back and did NOT say some version of "not taking new patients at this time". It's totally not you! No, no, no!!

This is when you have to be really firm with yourself and harden yourself and repeat over and over "I'm not taking this personally. I'm not taking this personally." because honestly it can't be personal. They don't even know you!

Just keep at it. Eventually you'll find one who will respond to you.
