It sounds like you're stuck. You're in a rut. Sometimes people are complacent in this rut, and others see the predictability and get depressed. And that is what happens to me.

If you're anything like that, what will likely help is having something that you can say is going right. No matter what else isn't going exactly as planned, at least that one thing is. And sometimes, having something you're satisfied with to hold onto as an achievement can make the other things seem easier to tolerate.

Shake things up a bit. Think of something you've always wanted to do, and just go do it without caring about how you get there. This trick has helped me quite a few times.

Our sadness never really leaves us, but we can manage it. I hope you feel better in the days ahead. And like I said, shake things up a bit!
