trinity, I think it says more about them than you! And others are right, it's not personal; it's probably their professional choice or a lack of time to respond, maybe even a lack of courtesy, in some respects. Who knows? Maybe some don't respond because they have a full case load, maybe some don't respond because they aren't sure they have the experience or capability to really help you. But that doesn't mean you are worthless or unhelpable .... because that's not true! There's someone out there who can help and is right for you.
You'll just need to be persistent, be patient, keep trying. I know that's hard and it sucks to have to work so hard at finding a counselor when you already feel exhausted and desperate and discouraged. But just keep calling, as the others have said too ..... if you stop calling, you won't get an answer. But if you keep calling, you have the hope get an answer by and by!
