Did you just start taking your medication? It takes about 6 weeks for antidepressants to START working. So if you've just begun to take it, it may take awhile before it starts working. When it DOES start tho, you will feel better. If you've been on it longer than 6 weeks, it might not be the right antidepressant for you -- sometimes we have to "experiment" with different kinds. Some A/D's didn't work for me. So my doc had to put me on a different kind, and then they DID work. So talk to your doc if you're having trouble.
Like Penguinsing said, things NEVER stay the same - things always change. I promise that it won't be like this forever. I thought too that I'd always be miserable cause I'd always been depressed, but now I'm feeling pretty darn good! Oh sure, I have a down day once in awhile, but not the constant lousy days I used to have.
So hang on -- we're here for you. And again, talk to your doc if the meds just aren't working, ok? God bless & take care. Hugs, Lee
