Nobody wants to hire someone approaching 50 who has an employment history full of holes. I've been fired from nearly every job I've ever had, and that number is so large i'm embarrassed to say. When I was younger, I could bounce back from a job loss fairly easily because I have always had job skills in demand. As time has progressed though, it becomes more difficult to learn in-demand skills because things change so rapidly now in the workplace.

I had trouble getting to into the workplace after my recovery from borderline personality disorder back in 1995. I had little job experince for I was on a disablity support pension for bpd for it was that bad . I couldnt fuction in my everyday life. I know how you feel about job losses for I have suffered alot of them , getting into the work place again . I had little sucess with it . So I can empathise how you feel on that issue . take care
