It's not like your therapist can do anything about the Olympics for heaven's sake. They are just as much a force as a natural disaster really.

Presidential visits (Obama will just NOT stay out of our state) are also an issue. My therapist had to get security clearance just to come to work for heaven's sake. He declined and opted to stay home. Can't blame him.

Now, snowstorms - that's quite a different story here in the Southern US. Practically apocalyptic.
Unless I'm mistaken, I think the whole point was this this was all in her head? I don't see anything about wanting T to stop the Olympics to keep the sessions going.

I know I can definitely relate to being intellectually aware that something that T has no control over has caused us to have to miss sessions, yet at the same time feeling the part of me that worries that T doesn't care about missing the session, whereas I care a LOT, getting poked at. It's awesome when there's a concrete reminder that that fear is irrational
