cheating is never good... someone is always bound to get hurt.
i've been on the giving and recieving end of it and neither felt great.
but i learned something from it and that will keep me from ever participating in something like that again. just as i am sure, given the nature of your regret, is something you will avoid in the future as well. with every mistake there is a lesson to be learned. use that experience to "make" you and not "break" you.
