Today I went in for an echocardiogram and to be fitted with the Holter Monitor. The echocardiogram was kind of uncomfortable as the technician had to push really hard against my ribs, but what bothered me was that Dr's twice came into the exam room, where I was having the echocardiogram done, to review other patients' results on the computer. And both times they kept interrupting the tech who was doing my scan to ask her questions about how to use the computer or the results they were looking at, interrupting my proceedure. The tech did apologize and said they had an "open door" policy for Dr.'s but I felt it was really unprofessional and it made me feel very vulnerable.
