I'm not sure that's how we look - but that's certainly how I feel sometimes.
Have you noticed that any time someone is speaking about ADHD, either in a professional capacity or informal converstaion, when they describe the symptoms they always do it in a joking manner to get a laugh?
It doesn't really bother me, I've been dealing with ADHD since before it was called ADHD, so I don't get too shook up about how the 96% of adults who
DON'T have to live with it react to it. Really just an observation.
It's especially funny when it's a professional giving a speech on ADHD awareness for the purpose of persuading others how serious this disorder is for those who suffer from it.
I also love when someone asks what the symptoms are and when you describe them they say, "I've done that before, I think I might have a touch of ADHD." LOL I can't recall EVER having to ponder, "Hmmm, do I or don't I have this?"
