Anyway I think it applies to the research in the area of obesity, just as it does in medicine right now. Too many researchers are funded by big industries that have a financial interest in the outcome of the research. It's always enlightening to see who funds a particular study. We tend not to bite the hand that feeds us. Those people are among those we "are not allowed to criticize."
