Beauflow, your positive traits sound pretty good to me even if you did find it hard to make a list (another one for you, you started a thread which made me feel good

). I agree it doesn't matter so much about what others think, it's how we see ourselves which is the core of healthy self-esteem - but sometimes someone close can help us see our good points, especially if we're stumped.
I know there's already a thread about what we like/dislike about ourselves but personally I find it too easy & rather depressing to list my self dislikes so don't want to dwell on those.
These are my pointers to remind me of my self worth:
I'm diligent, caring, always try my best, keep my humour (usually!), I'm (usually!) optimistic, my IT skills are good and I'm good at drawing/art. Today my co-worker told me I have a lovely manner on the phone which I don't feel (I always feel awkward) but she is an perceptive lady who I respect so I'll accept her observation - I always try to 'dial a smile' so it must be paying off.
