That's the way it seems to go sometimes. We have to cope somehow, so if we don't do one thing, we'll find something else. The trick is to stop using coping mechanisms that don't solve the problem and have the potential to make things worse, and instead to be proactive and deal with what is making you feel bad in a productive way. That could be by talking about it, or maybe you can get an idea how you could make it better.
