I hate it when pdocs won't prescribe off-label. They need to admit that they're grabbing at straws, blind AND in the dark, when they treat psych disorders and just prescribe anything you ask. I think they only let me stay on buproprion in the UK because I was prescribed it in Canada, though -- they try to keep the meds "stable". Also why I was required to take the maximum dose of clozapine for a year with nobody questioning it.
