I don't think TheDragon feels any differently from anyone else on this topic. S/He seems as appalled as I am by its content. I don't think there's any argument about the potential perversity of the site, just whether or not it legally deserves to exist.
However, although the site owner can wax eloquently about the 'principles' of providing these videos online, I do agree with the sentiment that this is likely a cover up for the depravity of a substantial portion of the site's users. I hate to say it, but I got back to investigating the site....again....and a lot of these comments are just sick. Much of these comments involved excitement or humor over the level of gore in the videos/photos. Furthermore, I think if any of you read how demeaning and hateful the 'articles' written about suicides are, you'd agree that these articles were not written simply to convey 'the truth.' In fact, a lot of comments involved sheer derision of the victims portrayed, including caption contests. The only truth about society here may be how easily we can overlook the misfortune of others.

One good thing the owner did say is - he would take the video down if the victims family asked him too.

I don't think this necessarily a good argument on the owner's behalf. Saying that he would take the video down if the victims family asked him to would be like an individual saying that they would delete the pirated music on their computer if the song writers asked them, individually, to do so. I'm sure that the victim's family would be already disapproving over this material being posted, but that doesn't mean they know where it's being posted.
