Hi Kaitlyn ~ A diagnosis with cancer does NOT mean a death sentence, please believe me. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I'm still here. I had surgery and radiation and it's GONE. That was 4 years ago, and there is NO indication that there is ANY cancer left. It's GONE. I'm checked every year and all tests are normal.  The strides they have made in cancer treatment are immense so just because you have a diagnosis of cancer does NOT mean you're going to die!
I'm sure your sister is in GOOD hands, and is getting the latest treatment in thyroid cancer.  Her chances are excellent -- so please don't give up. Hopefully it was caught early, and the treatment will work.
Just know that we are here for you, and you can lean on us. I know you're been depressed as I've seen your posts before. Keep posting and vent here so we can help you, ok? We'll be here. God bless & take care of YOU. Hugs, Lee
