The tests are very silly. The Sanity Score one asks if your hands shake! Well . . . of course mine do! It's called tarditive dyskinesia, and it's a known (sometimes permanent, as in my case) side-effect of - you guessed it - psych drugs.
And you could very realistically have somebody trying to harm you; that's not a sign of mental illness. What if you're in an abusive relationship when you take that test?
"I avoid situations where I might encounter a specific common object or situation." Yes. I avoid places where alcohol is consumed because I don't enjoy it and don't like drunks. Doesn't mean I'm unwell!!
Also, I don't believe there is any person one the planet who can truly answer that they have never "thought about ending [their] life". Surely everyone speculates even a little bit?!
Sorry, I love debunking the tests. They remind me of those little diversion ones they had on The Spark.com years back -- like "Which Disney Princess are you?" or whatever. They shouldn't be taken seriously!
