Hope things turn out o.k. for your Mom. That is most important. I am no vet but have taken care of lots of orphan animals on the farm. Try feeding the kittens dry kitten food soaked with water and give them water to drink. Maybe they are too small for the meds they are on. I had three week old kittens that did fine like that.
