During psychosis several years ago my identity broke and I displayed a crisis that led the doctors to diagnose me with DID. When my split identity came back together slightly the doctors changed my diagnosis back to schizophrenia. They don't mention labels much these days but have spoken about dissociation and schizophrenia with me. I do hallucinate and have auditory disturbances among other things and I do dissociate.
