Trinity, I actually think your experience with food was a good thing. You were a looking for a way to find some comfort when you were feeling very down and hopeless. I think the manner you chose was a good choice, considering other alternatives. Was it really SO bad (what/how you ate), or are you being too hard on yourself? The good news is, you are getting back on track, and that is fantastic! We are human, we screw up. That is the nature of being human. Everyone, I mean everyone does it. Daily. Sending you some love and the hope that today you can do something loving for all your selves. ♥

Also, I don't know if you've read any of Geneen Roth's books, but if you struggle with emotional eating, she is fantastic. "When Food is Love" and "Women, Food and God" are my favorites. She always says, for every "diet" (ie, trying too hard to restrict", there's an equal and opposite binge.
