You're not a bother at all! We all ask questions of one sort or another. I think you'll find everyone is most helpful here.

It seems to me that most of my friends who are DID keep a journal and each of the parts can write to each other if they can't communicate with each other another way. Also, most make play time for their Littles. It's good fun for everyone.
