Hi ~ I can understand. I really do, as I've been in the same boat before. I finally realized what I was doing wrong.
Do you think PERHAPS that you're projecting negativity? I don't mean on purpose of course, but do you perhaps appear sad, negative and depressed all the time? We sometimes have a habit of doing that because that's how we FEEL -- but people don't want to be around us because we bring THEM down. WE make THEM feel depressed too, and so they don't want to hang with us. So regardless of how we feel, we need to try to act positive, and try not to subject our friends to our woes. That's what therapists are for.
So I had to change the way I acted around people, and in return I began to even FEEL better. It really took away some of my depression -- not all of course because some of it was deeper than that and I had to stay in therapy to get to that.
Just wondering if this might be part of the problem for you. Like I said, it was for me. God bless & please take care of yourself. Hugs, Lee
