You sound like you are much more "together" than your therapist. I would have dumped this person long ago. I know you feel that there are some areas where she is insightful, and its difficult starting over seemingly from square one with a new therapist, but it seems its time.

I'm truly shocked that this person is this dense. I think she may have far too many problems of her own to be doing what she is doing.
