Can't really comment on the weight thing, never been an issue in my life. Have I decidedly paid more attention to fit men? Probably. I like hard muscles, fat is soft...

My husband did gain weight for a bit and I did ask him to lose it which he did, it wasn't much weight but interfered nonetheless. I wonder if that was awful but, I'd expect if I gained enough, he'd comment too.
