I have been trying to get on disability for my depression and chronic pain (among other things too but those are the main ones). Anyway, I know it's not uncommon to get denied at least once. But I was given a list of certain criteria and was told that I had to meet at least four things on that list for my depression to be considered disabling. I meet EVERY SINGLE THING ON THAT LIST!!!  And my doctors know this too--so what's up with that. Plus my work history alone shows that I have not been able to find or hold a job.
