I'm a front desk agent at a very well known brand hotel. It's supposed to be one of the nicest hotel brands you can go to. But not this one. He does work but he's also in school so his current pay isn't much. Neither is mine.
When I started working here I liked it. Even with the occassional argumentative guest. We had a different GM, but he ended up quitting and the assistant GM got promoted and since than, it's been horrible to work here. Have no back up from management, they make things worse. I've considered looking for another job and have put in my resume at a few places but I don't have a license or a car (medical reasons) so my time to look is limited as I have a 4 year old daughter and can't drive myself. I'm stuck, but I have to find a way out. I can't take it here. I've got such a severe migraine, and I get them all the time being here. It's horrible.
