background info:
I've struggled with depression/anxiety since childhood. I am also a night person and not a morning/daytime person. This equals insomnia at night and hypersomnia during the day.

Conclusion: I have a very difficult time waking up in the morning, or even getting out of bed at all no matter how much sleep I get. If I could, I'd stay in bed until 2pm everyday. (Which means that if I went to bed at 10pm the night before, I'd be getting 16 hours of sleep!)
Help! This is wasting my days and makes me feel like such a failure!
