Thank you for all the replies, I really appreciate it. I'm going to start looking for another job shortly. I worked at another hotel front desk and it wasn't so bad. Even being here I kind of enjoyed it with old management. We are the bellohop, councierge even maintenance after 8pm. I love my home town so the tourist who come in, I love telling them all about the history and all about the fun things to do. But new management has made it impossible to enjoy this job. While they are in the bathroom in groups doing cocaine (as I've witnessed) I'm getting yelled at, and when I go back to get the manager for an upset guest, they are too coked out to do anything or even think straight. They make people clock out if they are nearing over time, but the thing is, they wont let the person leave until their work is finished, off the clock. We have many criminals and they even commit the crimes here on property. The managers have opened the kitchen, served a full lunch (as it doesn't normally have lunch) using the hotels food and all, and pocketed the profits.
This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, and at one point it really was. But it's no better than a motel 6 now. And when guests have to pay 159 a night for a standard room, and get motel service, they get furious with the front desk.
My daughter leaves for the summer next Sunday, I will spend that month looking for another job.
