Why isn't is safe for you to stay at your parents?

My husband lacks good communication skills. It makes living together so much more difficult. Sounds like you have a similar situation with your father. I'm sorry he is unable to express himself better. It sounds like he really loves you, and is trying to protect you, but is unable to say that in so many words.
