I met my girlfriend on an online dating site. It worked for me because I was new to the city, didn't know a lot of people, didn't want to mix work and pleasure, and didn't have a lot of opportunities to just meet people out and about. Of course, it took going on some dates with the WRONG people before I met her-- some were just ok, some were downright bad-- but, in the end, it was well worth it! Of course, online dating isn't for everyone. But, for me, it was the right decision!
