I did online dating on and off for years...8 years maybe? It did have a happy ending though...I just married a great guy I met on match.com. My advice is if you are frustrated, take a break, but you always can go back.

My other piece of advice is to only use sites that you have to pay for. This weeds out a lot of people who are looking for something quick and physical rather than s relationship.
